Problems in the relationship

There has been a busy period in the couples therapy practice and therefore it has been a while since I have had time to write on the blog. However, there are more articles and news in the queue that I look forward to sharing with you.

Relationship in crisis

There have, among other things, been a large search for couples with broken relationships, on the brink of divorce as well as couples in crisis with stressful load reactions, attachment problems, anxiety, depression, alcohol, communication problems, arguments, sexual problems and infidelity as well as couples where one has, for example, been in love with a third party . In other words, couples who were in the middle of a decision about ‘make or break’ and ‘development or liquidation’. Typically complex and vulnerable situations without standard answers and standard solutions – for which I have deep respect and am happy to collaborate, regardless of common or individual agendas.

Divorce or couples therapy

Couples therapy costs both time, money and energy. Although it is a loving, developing and rewarding process, it also requires courage and effort for most. As with the mechanic, the lawyer and the dentist, many therefore wait until the last minute. Unfortunately, some wait too long for clarification, investigation and prevention or correction. For me as a couples therapist, however, it makes no difference how early or late the couple comes in relation to their process. Everyone is welcome when they are ready for the support they want, in relation to the process they are in and precisely for the topic they would like help with.

Questions about divorce

There have thus recently been many questions for both me and the letterbox regarding separation and divorce. Incl. statistics, trends and reasons for divorce. Why and when to divorce? What and how can it go so wrong? Communication about the divorce? Dealing with children before, during and after the divorce? Practical problems surrounding the divorce? Practical and formal sources of information about divorce? Relationship, relational and psychological processes before, during and after the process? See more about this at the link below.

My offer in case of divorce

As a former process and business consultant with legal understanding as well as a psychotherapist specializing in couple therapy, I try to help the couple and support all the relevant processes – regardless of what you bring up. In order to answer some of the questions asked in the practice and to the mailbox, I have written a short article that clarifies the options, my offer and how I often work in connection with processes around divorce:
